Many A-list celebrities have been hacked in the recent decade, resulting in some of their most private photos being published online.
The most popular breach, also known as “The Fappening” or “Celebgate,” occurred in 2014, when a guy hacked over 100 iCloud accounts to access more than 500 private photos of various celebrities.
It’s a heinous invasion of privacy that many of those harmed at the time are still battling to overcome.
Are you wondering which are these celebrities whose nude photos have been leaked? Here they are:
Jennifer Lawrence was one of many celebrities whose naked images were posted online in 2014 when a guy hacked into hundreds of iCloud accounts.
Though the hacker was later apprehended and sentenced to eight months in prison, the actress confessed that it was one of her most difficult times of the year, and she couldn’t understand how someone could intrude on her privacy in this manner.
In a 2014 interview with Vanity Fair, Jennifer Lawrence addressed the topic of her leaked images. She called the encounter a “sex crime” and voiced her feelings of betrayal and rage.
Lawrence underlined that not only is sharing or seeing such private images without consent a violation of privacy, but it is also a kind of sexual exploitation.
She urged others to speak out against such behavior. She advocated for tighter regulations to protect people from similar violations of privacy.
After Kaley Cuoco’s iCloud was hacked in 2014 and intimate images of her were leaked online, she decided to make light of the situation by sharing a naked photo of herself on Instagram.
The photograph showed the actress and her 27-year-old spouse Ryan Sweeting walking on the beach together, their private parts blurred out.
Kaley was having a good time with the post since her bikini top straps were still visible despite the filtering.
She captioned the photo, ‘What a fantastic day that was, frolicking with my husband on the beaches of Mexico!’ and shared it with her 9.5 million followers. ‘Does it seem like we forgot something?’
Talking to Jimmy Kimmel later, the actress admitted that it was a “terrible situation, but she opted to take it into her own hands and joke about it because what else was she supposed to do?
Demi Lovato’s ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama’s Twitter account was hacked in 2013, and several nude and intimate photos of the couple were leaked.
It happened again in 2017, but the “Sorry Not Sorry” singer joked about it on Twitter, writing, “I love how everyone’s freaking out over one picture.” It’s not naked, just cleavage.”

Although Dakota Johnson seems at ease naked in front of the camera, uploading intimate images of someone online without their permission is never acceptable.
The Fifty Shades of Grey actress joined many other celebrities whose nude images were published in 2017.
Bella Thorne uploaded her topless images after a hacker threatened her with them. “I feel gross, I feel watched, and I feel like someone has taken something from me that I only wanted one special person to see,” she tweeted.
Bella Thorne’s choice to post the images elicited varied emotions, with some applauding her bravery and others criticizing her for potentially underestimating the gravity of privacy infractions.
Kirsten Dunst was one of many celebrities targeted in the now-infamous nude photo controversy 2014.
After several photos of Dunst surfaced online, she responded with a snarky tweet that said, “Thank you, iCloud” and included an emoticon of a slice of pizza and a pile of poo, attacking Apple’s iCloud storage system.
Dunst confessed to E! Online that she had embraced comedy to help her move on from the humiliating disclosure, stating, “I try to have a sense of humor about a really unfortunate situation.
Tiger Woods’ naked photos were leaked to the public in 2017. The photos also included his ex-girlfriend Lindsey Vonn, who threatened legal action against the hackers.
Lindsey said she would take all legal measures to protect and enforce her rights and interests. She believed that the individuals were guilty of hacking her private images and the websites that encourage such heinous behavior should face the full force of the law.
During the big attack in 2014, private images of model Kate Upton were also released. Kate Upton rose to popularity by posing in explicit shots, but after being engaged in a celebrity phone hack, the model had new naked images she did not want to go public.
Addressing the leakages, Kate’s lawyers said, “This is an outrageous violation of our client Kate Upton’s privacy,” “We intend to pursue to the fullest extent possible anyone disseminating or duplicating these illegally obtained images.”
Chris Brown’s ex-girlfriend published naked images of him online in 2011, showing the singer posing in the bathroom.
It was unclear whether the man in the images was the singer then, but he had tattoos and blond hair similar to Brown’s.
In an interview months later, he confirmed the photos were his, adding that he does not regret taking them.
Kim Kardashian is famous for her infamous sex tape with ex-boyfriend Ray J (which many feel launched her reality TV career), but it wasn’t the only time her privacy was violated.
She was one of many celebrities targeted in a naked photo released in 2014.
Regarding the leaked photos, Kim Kardashian told Elle UK she felt ‘violated’ but didn’t think she could ‘go wild’ over it because she frequently poses naked for publications.
Blake Lively, the Gossip Girl star, was the victim of a nude photo leak in 2011 when hackers posted four images of a blonde lady taking shots of herself in the mirror.
Her representatives later claimed the nudes were bogus and threatened legal action against any site that published them.
This emboldened the hackers to release even more images of the actress on the internet, and plenty are out there.
